The inner screen's factory film
Samsung ships every Fold with a protective film on the folding display and tells owners not to peel it off. The folding panel underneath is softer than cover glass, and the film is part of its protection. Over months, the film can bubble or lift at the crease. When that happens, Samsung service centres replace it; that's the route we recommend over third-party inner films, which can make the crease more pronounced.
Cover screen protection
Treat the cover screen like any slab phone: tray-fitted tempered glass for your exact model. Bundles with camera lens protectors are good value, as Fold cameras stick out and pick up scratches on tables.
