Use cover-screen glass that names the Z Fold8 Ultra. Its 6.5-inch cover and 8.0-inch inner screens match the Fold7's sizes, but the body is new, so don't assume Fold7 glass lines up. Leave Samsung's factory film on the inner screen.

Screen size is measured diagonally, so two displays can share a diagonal and still differ in corner radius, camera hole position and the width of the flat border the glass sits on. Samsung presents the Fold8 Ultra as a new design, not a refreshed Fold7. Until a protector maker lists one product for both phones, treat them as separate.
Cover screen
A flat, non-folding 6.5-inch panel, so tempered glass is fine. Check the listing mentions the Fold8 Ultra and has a cut-out, or a clear area, matching the front camera.
Inner screen
The same rule as every Galaxy Z Fold: keep the factory-fitted film Samsung applies, don't peel it, and have Samsung replace it if it wears. Glass can't fold, and a second film layer adds strain at the crease. Samsung says its Flex Titanium construction is designed to reduce the crease; a thick film on top works against that.

Will Galaxy Z Fold7 protectors fit the Z Fold8 Ultra?
Screen sizes match (6.5-inch cover, 8.0-inch inner), but it's a new body design. Only rely on it if the protector maker lists both phones.
Is the Z Fold8 Ultra the same as the Z Fold8?
No. The standard Fold8 has a 5.5-inch cover and a wider 7.6-inch 4:3 inner screen. Their protectors aren't interchangeable.
