Buy glass that names the S26+, ideally one listed for S26+ and S25+ by the same maker. Published dimensions for the two phones match, but sensor position and corner shape decide fit, and only the maker's listing confirms those.

Same size as the S25+ — so will old glass fit?
The S26+ body measurements match the S25+'s, and that's why you'll see S25+ protectors in S26+ search results. Maybe they fit perfectly. But a protector has to line up with more than the outline: the curve of the corners, the front camera hole, and above all the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. If the sensor has moved even a few millimetres, glass with a rim of adhesive or a printed border can sit badly over it.
So our rule is the same as for the iPhone 18 Pro: trust the manufacturer's model list, not a matching measurement. If Spigen or ESR list a protector for both, use it. If you already own S25+ glass from a brand that doesn't mention the S26+, try it, and replace it if fingerprint unlock gets unreliable.

Delete and re-register your fingerprints through the new protector (Settings → Security and privacy → Biometrics → Fingerprints), then turn on Touch sensitivity if swipes feel less responsive.
