Buy glass that names the Pixel 11 Pro specifically and has full adhesive, then re-register your fingerprints. The Pixel 11 and 11 Pro both have 6.3-inch screens but slightly different bodies. Protector makers usually sell them separately, so don't swap them unless the listing names both.

All three went on sale on 20 August 2026, with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front. The Pro is fractionally narrower, shorter and thinner than the base Pixel 11. A tenth of a millimetre sounds like nothing, but it can be enough to change the corner radius and how far glass sits from the edge.
Fingerprint sensor: the part to plan around
Pixels moved to ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensors with the Pixel 9 generation, and all three Pixel 11 models use one. Older Pixel advice about optical sensors, such as "privacy glass blocks the light the sensor needs", no longer applies. The new sensor has a different weak spot: air gaps. Use glass with adhesive across the whole sheet, then re-register your fingerprints in Settings → Security & privacy → Device unlock → Fingerprint Unlock. If it's still unreliable, turn on Increase touch sensitivity in the Display settings.

Is the Pixel 10 Pro glass reusable?
Only if the maker lists the 11 Pro. Google's announcement doesn't describe the 11 Pro as having the 10 Pro's body, and protector fit depends on details a spec sheet doesn't show, such as the corner radius and the position of the front camera hole. If you have spare 10 Pro glass, you lose little by trying one. If it sits off-centre or the fingerprint sensor struggles, buy 11 Pro-specific glass.
