Which protector for a Pixel 11?
People buy the standard Pixel 11 for good value and the camera. Premium glass mainly adds stronger edges and a better warranty, which matter less on a phone you'll probably keep in a case. What does matter is full adhesive, because the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor struggles with an air gap.
Fingerprint set-up
Pixels moved to ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensors with the Pixel 9 generation, and all three Pixel 11 models use one. Older Pixel advice about optical sensors, such as "privacy glass blocks the light the sensor needs", no longer applies. The new sensor has a different weak spot: air gaps. Use glass with adhesive across the whole sheet, then re-register your fingerprints in Settings → Security & privacy → Device unlock → Fingerprint Unlock. If it's still unreliable, turn on Increase touch sensitivity in the Display settings.
