Choose Pixel 11 Pro XL-specific glass with an alignment tray and full adhesive. The XL's 6.8-inch screen is big enough that fitting it by eye often goes wrong, and its ultrasonic fingerprint sensor needs even contact across the glass.

Getting 6.8 inches of glass on straight
Big-phone protectors go wrong in predictable ways. Here's how to avoid each:
- Crooked fit: use a tray. Being slightly off at the top turns into a visibly uneven border at the bottom.
- Dust bubbles: run a hot shower for a few minutes first, fit it in the bathroom, and have the dust stickers ready. See cleaning your screen before fitting.
- Air trapped in the middle: press from the centre outwards with the card supplied. A large sheet flexes, and that flex is what traps the air.
Fingerprint unlock
Pixels moved to ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensors with the Pixel 9 generation, and all three Pixel 11 models use one. Older Pixel advice about optical sensors, such as "privacy glass blocks the light the sensor needs", no longer applies. The new sensor has a different weak spot: air gaps. Use glass with adhesive across the whole sheet, then re-register your fingerprints in Settings → Security & privacy → Device unlock → Fingerprint Unlock. If it's still unreliable, turn on Increase touch sensitivity in the Display settings.

Will a Pixel 10 Pro XL protector fit the Pixel 11 Pro XL?
Only rely on it if the maker lists both. Sizes are close, but corner radius and camera-hole position decide fit.
Why does my Pixel 11 Pro XL fingerprint reader fail with a protector?
Usually an air gap over the sensor. Use full-adhesive glass, re-register your fingerprints and turn on increased touch sensitivity.
