Get a tempered glass protector with an alignment tray, listed for both the iPhone 18 Pro Max and 17 Pro Max. On Apple's spec sheets the two phones are identical at 163.4 × 78.0 × 8.75 mm. Why the big screen changes the buying decision
Three things get harder as the glass gets bigger, and they should shape what you buy:
- Alignment. Being 1° off across 163 mm leaves a visibly uneven border at the bottom. Tray systems hold the glass square to the phone's edges.
