Buy S25 Ultra-specific glass with full adhesive and fingerprint support, then re-register your prints. S24 Ultra glass doesn't fit: Samsung gave the S25 Ultra rounder corners. S26 Ultra glass doesn't fit either.
Why S24 Ultra glass is the wrong shape
The S24 Ultra had squarer corners. For the S25 Ultra, Samsung rounded the corners and slimmed the bezels, keeping a flat 6.9-inch display. A protector cut for squarer corners either overhangs the rounded ones, where a case pushes it up, or leaves visible gaps. Because the change is obvious on the phone, cheap listings that claim S24/S25 Ultra compatibility deserve suspicion.

Like the S24 and S26 Ultras, the S25 Ultra has anti-reflective cover glass. A glossy protector covers that surface with a shiny one. If outdoor readability is why you bought an Ultra, consider going without and using a case with a raised lip, or an anti-reflective protector.
Ultrasonic fingerprint set-up
- Use glass with adhesive across the whole sheet. Rim-only adhesive leaves an air gap over the sensor.
- After fitting, delete your fingerprints in Settings → Security and privacy → Biometrics → Fingerprints and register them again.
- Turn on Touch sensitivity in Display settings if unlocking is still unreliable.
