Match the size (11-inch or 13-inch). Makers commonly list one protector for the M2, M3 and M4 Air of the same size, but check your generation is named. Don't use iPad Pro glass: the M4 and M5 Pro have a different, thinner design.
Which Air do you have?
Look on the back for the model number, or go to Settings → General → About. The chip is shown there too. Apple refreshed the Air with the M4 in March 2026, after the M3 (2025) and the M2 (2024), which introduced the 13-inch size.

Glass or paper-feel?

Touch ID
The Air's Touch ID sensor is in the top button, so screen protectors never affect it.
