Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Watch9 alongside the Watch Ultra2 at Unpacked in London on 22 July 2026. Buy protectors that name the exact model: case sizes repeat, but screen diameters and bezel heights change.
Do you need one?
Sapphire is much harder than ordinary cover glass and resists everyday scratches. What still damages watches is impact on the edge of the glass, from door frames and gym equipment. A flat protector does little for that; a bumper case does more.
Round glass and raised bezels
Galaxy Watch screens sit slightly below a raised bezel. Protectors must be cut to the inner diameter, or they'll ride up onto the bezel and lift. Rotating-bezel Classic models leave even less room.
